It has never been easy for us to accept others’ flaws. But this man was immediately attracted to, and decided to adopt a deaf dog (Cole) while other people might refuse to do the same thing. The kind man felt like he and Cole had a strong bond when they first met. His nephew was deaf, which made him think the connection was destiny.

Soon, Cole became attached to his loving owner who taught music in a primary school. He often appeared in classes with his dog. You might think it was so funny for a deaf dog to stay in a music room, but actually, Cole had his own role. His existence in the class taught the kids to say “acceptance”. That was to accept other’s flaws and who they were. Cole became not only a good friend but also an unreplaceable guess in every of his owner’s classes.

Playing with the deaf boy, the kids felt motivated to break their walls. A “Team Cole Project” started and spread out to other schools in the region. More children were told about Cole’s story and taught about discrimination lessons through which their behaviors changed. Besides, Cole also volunteered at Veteran Memorial Home, staying with patients and helping them during their therapy. No one would forget a quiet Pit Bull who carried high energy and became super excited to meet his veteran friends.

Whether Cole was on the school program or working at the hospital, the smart boy never took his focus off his father. It seemed like there was an unbreakable bond between them. The man loved his dog so much that he brought him along to everywhere he went. From a rescued dog, Cole becomes the happiest son to receive love and care from his tender father.

The story of Pit Bull Cole teaches us the lessons of courage and acceptance. People may think of the deaf boy, but they even can not forget his inspiring ability.
