Mike Brown is a real animal lover who has a habit of feeding stray dogs every afternoon. One day, he met Franka, a poisoned street dog struggling with a life-threatening condition. Although Franka was extremely painful and depressed, no one took an eye on that poor little soul. The miserable dog was fighting alone amid the indifference and heartlessness of the passersby.

Mike and his team decided not to continue driving, but stop to save the life of that little soul. They had to tie Franka’s muzzle back because the pain drove him mad, and he was biting uncontrollably. It was dangerous for any of the rescuers to get bitten by Franka. At that moment, his body constantly convulsed with pain. The poor dog kept screaming plaintively, breaking the hearts of the rescue team. The team tried to run against time to detoxify Franka, and luckily, the dog got over his critical condition after 30 minutes.

After that, the rescuers wrapped him in a soft towel and brought him home. Franka would be fostered by the team so that he could recover faster. At that time, the dog was utterly exhausted. The rescue team didn’t even know whether he would survive, all they could do is to pray for him. The poor dog fell into a coma until the next day.

On day 2, Franka got up, but he was emaciated and weak. He looked very confused about what had happened to him and where he was. He was unable to stand up, eat or drink anything. Maybe he was still obsessed with the poisoning. Mike needed to offer extra help so that he could eat a little milk.

The next day, Franka received intravenous fluids. He was in a stable condition, but the time ahead might be very difficult for him. It would take a period of time for him to heal up. Also, the dog had to learn how to eat, drink and trust humans again. That was a hard and long process, but the team would provide Franka the best care and love.

Four days after the rescue, Franka was in better condition. The dog started to eat on his own and noticed other furry friends living in the house. It seemed like he was healthier, both physically and mentally. Mike and his team thought that it was time to socialize with him. They hoped Franka could forget all sufferings in the past, and be ready for a new chapter in his life.

All of his treatment included the love and care from the rescue team. And eventually, Franka succeeded. He recovered in an amazing way. Now, we can be sure that Franks is in the safe and best care! He no longer had to wander on the street or be harmed by cruel people.
