On a cold winter day, a careless driver hit poor soul Laki while he was controlling his car. After the terrible accident, he didn’t even take responsibility for the dog but continued driving. Baby Laki was left lying motionless amid the cold weather and indifference of the passersby. She was found and rescued by a kind-hearted woman.

Right after spotting the poor dog, the woman took him to a nearby vet. Laki was in a life-threatening condition. His wounds kept bleeding heavily, which caused the state of blood loss. If Laki had reached the hospital several minutes later, she wouldn’t have survived. X-rays showed that the little creature had his tail, jaw, and foot broken in the crash. The next morning, Laki went on surgery that fixed her fractured leg and jaw. The complicated operation lasted for 3 hours, and finally, it was successful. Thanks to her strong desire to live, Laki managed to overcome such painful surgery.

After a long coma, she woke up, but the little girl was still weak. She could hardly eat or drink anything. The woman stayed by her side to take care of the little angel. Her heart broke into thousands of pieces to see the poor dog in such bad condition. But she believed Laki was strong and brave enough to get through that bad situation. And she was right. Three weeks after the surgery, Laki’s jaw and leg mostly healed up. When the rescuer came for a visit, the little girl wagged her tail and walked towards the rescuer.

Several days later, she enjoyed the outside weather and felt happy. It melted the woman’s heart when she saw lovely smiles on Laki’s face. At that time, the health indicator was stabilized, but Laki still needed syringe feeding at meals. Shortly after, the broken leg and jaw fully recovered. Vets said that Laki was strong enough to be discharged from the vet. The baby girl couldn’t hide her happiness and excitement. She jumped for joy to walk out of the vet.
