Love Furry Friend is an animal rescue team working to save and foster stray or abandoned dogs and cats. They have a Youtube channel with 135 thousand subscribers, and all uploaded videos are about animal rescue. One of their subscribers called them about a 5-year-old sick dog that needed to be rescued. On the same day, they drove 300 kilometers to the rescue location and saved the poor dog.

When they arrived, it was very dark and raining outside. The rescue team soon noticed the dog standing under the rain and purring plaintively. Looking at the dog, the team had their hearts broken. Her body was covered with wounds, emaciated and terrified. She seemed to be very hungry and thirsty. She lived on an old chain since her birth. Her owner used her to guard the house, so he never treated or vaccinated her.

Talking to the owner, the team persuaded him to give them the dog. They would provide her better care and love she needed. Before being taken away, the poor dog looked at her owner with friendly eyes and wagged her tailed to show her gratitude toward him. The owner and the rescuers were surprised a lot. Lover Furry Friend Team wrapped her using a blanket and drove her to the vet clinic for a health checkup.

The dog was called Lada, such a nice name. Taken to the vet, her body was still trembling because of a cold.  The doctor took a skin test for her, claiming that Lada got flea dermatitis (a disease that happens when a dog has not been treated for fleas for a long time). The disease caused hair fall on the affected skin areas, and therefore, purulent wounds appeared on her body. The team decided to leave her at the vet clinic so that she could get the best treatment.

After two weeks, they came to visit Lada at the vet. She looked much better. Her recovery improved significantly. Wounds healed up, making her happier. Lada was taken good care of by the clinic staff and the team loved her so much. One month later, Lada had more hair. She looked beautiful. However, it took her one more month to fully recover from the disease. The team fostered her until she was adopted by a kind person. Lada is a smart and obedient girl, so she is a fantastic pet for a family loving and taking care of her.

“Dogs are good friends of human”, but humans are not treating them like friends. We need to take immediate action to save stray/ abandoned dogs and give them the best care they deserve.
