Early this month, a poor stray dog hit by a car suffered from severe injures on his body. After the crash, he was frightened and ran into the forest. While going to the woodland, some kind farmers spotted the dog and called AnimalSTEP for help. Immediately, the volunteers rushed to the site and rescued the poor boy.

When they arrived, they found the dog lying still on the ground. As he was scared, the rescuers planned to catch him slowly. They gave the boy some food, hoping him to calm down and relax. Then, the team managed to catch him while he was enjoying the meal. The poor soul was suffering intense pain, and even a light touch could make him cry. The rescuers carefully loaded him into their car and drove the poor boy to the vet.

After an X-ray scan, doctors concluded that the dog had a broken spine and a dislocated hip. Even though the accident didn’t harm internal organs, it did affect his nerves. The poor dog was always in a bad mood and so much worry. The painful past seemed too terrible for the innocent dog to stand, but he should understand that he was already in safety.

When his condition stabilized, the boy went on surgery to fix his spine and hip. Thankfully, it was a success. After just a week at the vet, receiving love and care, he feels so trustful. When the rescuers fondled him, his eyes lightened up with happiness and gratitude. Eventually, he knew that he no longer lived in a dangerous place.  He is now in good hands, and a better life awaits him ahead.

At this time, the dog is still in his recovery process. He feels thankful to be cared for by a tender foster mom. We hope that this beautiful angel will have a loving forever home of himself. Thank AnimalSTEP and everyone involved in saving this little soul. Your work is so meaningful!
