Shylee was found lying near a rod in a construction zone. When the workers came closer, they saw to their horror that the rod had pierced through her thigh and impaled the dog. They called Animal Aid Unlimted, India for help. The rescue team appeared in time to save the poor girl.

Shylee had jumped from a wall, and then, she got stuck in the rod. She was painful, weak, and frightened. Seeing the rescue team, the poor girl made an effort to escape, but she couldn’t. The rescuers reassured her with caressing and gentle hugs. As the rod was too thick, the team decided to use an electric saw to cut through the metal. After huge efforts, they were finally able to rescue the girl at night.

Getting freedom, the dog was both happy and scared at the same time. She couldn’t even stand properly on her feet. She was not able to run because one of her legs was in a bad condition. The rescuers kept her covered under a blanket and took the girl to the hospital. Luckily, there was no fractured bone caused by the rod, even though it had empaled Shylee’s body. The wound was deep and painful, so she needed antibiotics during her treatment process.

When the doctor finished neutralizing the injury, Shylee could take a rest. During the next two weeks, the poor girl was at the hospital, living under the best care and love from the vet. Every day, her wound was cleaned and flushed. Then, the dog received good food and fresh water. Shylee was such a brave girl who had incredible inner strength. She healed up quickly and became stronger thanks to human love.

Shylee is now a healthy and happy dog. She is grateful for her rescuers and doctors who saved and cared for her. The wound recovered, and she loves running around the yard for play. Shylee’s switching means that she has already come over the past to welcome a better future.
