Lily Ivo is really an animal lover from Indonesia. For 20 years working abroad in Abu Dhabi city (United Arab Emirates), she had fed many stray cats and dogs. In 2019, she returned to her homeland and continued helping street cats and dogs she met in daily life. We can not estimate the exact number of cats and kittens that have received her help. One day, Lily got a call telling about a lonely kitten wandering on a roadside. Quickly, she rushed to the location and rescued the small cat.

When Lily arrived, she was impressed by how the kitten looked. He was dirty and sad. The tiny creature was trying to find food, perhaps he hadn’t eaten anything for several days. The woman who found him said that the kitten was alone. It seemed like someone had abandoned him. When Lily was about to approach him, he was a bit scared and ran away.

Finally, she could take him home. Lily gave him some solid food and a bowl of water, as a gift to welcome the furry friend. Because of hunger, he ate the meal quickly. Then, Lily cleaned his body gently before giving him a bath. She didn’t want to hurt or to scare the poor little kitten, so she went slowly with him. At that time, the kitten couldn’t feel more comfortable and relaxing.

The second meal was given to the little cat after the bath. He seemed to really enjoy it. Lily named him Alex for how handsome and smart he was. Eventually, the tiny kitten was in a safe place and was getting the care he needed. The next day, Alex got up early to enjoy sunbathing. Compared to how he looked before the rescue, Alex was much healthier and happier. And we know he deserved it.
